Social Media Marketing for the Languages Industry
Date and venue: Thursday 9th February 2012
Friends House, Euston, London
EARLYBIRD BOOKING EXTENSION: book by 31st December to receive the lower rate
Social media uptake has grown at a frenetic rate in the last couple of years with companies in all sectors tapping into its powerful marketing appeal. Many of the businesses and organisations that have engaged with social media have ‘had-a-go’ or taken a ‘try-it-and-see’ approach as part of their marketing mix.
However, it has been estimated that twice as many companies damage their brand as a result of misguided activities and lack of a clear strategy as those who see any tangible or perceived benefit.
This new ATC supported Social Media Marketing training course, tailored specially for the language industry, will help translation company marketeers understand how this form of direct communication with existing and potential customers can help build an effective resource by:
raising brand awareness
engaging with established and potential customers
helping to drive new users to your websites.
Note that this is not another workshop for the technologically inclined or initiated, this is about business, YOUR business and how to get the best return on your investment of resources. Delivered in a straightforward way, using non-technical language, this course is full of insights and real-world observations, practical techniques and actionable strategies.
This training course is available to all ATC members at the special earlybird rate of just £185.00 + VAT provided you book before 31st December 2011. After that date the price increases £225.00 + VAT.
For non-ATC members, the earlybird rate is £250.00 + VAT. After 31st December the rate increases to £300.00 + VAT.
Please note that these are rates specially negotiated by the Association of Translation Companies with one of the country's top experts who has written a best-selling book on the topic (click here to purchase). The average price for a course of this nature is nearer to £500 per delegate or more.
